Welcome to the Saginaw Area Watermedia Artists, or SAWA for short, web site! We are a Michigan Non-Profit Organization established to promote fine watermedia and art including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, casein, inks and collage that include those mediums, in the Saginaw and surrounding areas.
We hold meetings on the first Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm at the First Congregational Church in Saginaw. Our program calendar runs from September 1st to August 31st. We offer workshops, member exhibitions, demonstrations, "paint togethers" and other fun events throughout the year.

Mission Statement
To foster, promote, sponsor, and develop an understanding of, a taste for, participation in and love of the fine art of painting as it pertains to, but not limited to, the water mediums of: transparent watercolor, acrylic, gouache, casein, inks and collage that includes those art mediums for educational, literary and philanthropic purposes
